Mechanical Testing

Where mechanical properties are concerned, we perform advanced and adapted testing, especially in the area of ferrous alloy. We have longstanding experience of mechanical testing of many different parameters and can link the analyzed information to the main processing parameters to change and promote the properties. We determine the compliance of materials to applicable standards and specifications. We have extensive experience with mechanical testing methodology as well as the interpretation of the results. The mechanical testing and material testing we perform may be part of a quality assurance program, manufacturing engineering program, failure analysis or for materials research and development.

Tests are performed to ASTM (or other industry recognized) specifications. In-house mechanical testing equipment is used for the following material tests:
